Sad news...

Yesterday we lost a loyal, hard working bean. Since you are all part of our family, we had to share it with you. Wiley, one of the dog mascots you see around the site, passed away suddenly. We are all devastated by the loss. Of course our head Beans, Laura and Doug, are the most affected, as is Buddy, Wiley's pal for his whole life. Thankfully, Huck is a bit small (2 1/2) to truly grasp the loss, but is still confused.

Wiley will be missed, but will be remembered fondly for his terrific personality, beauty and true loving nature.

No words...Jeanne

  4. I am so sorry for your sadness. Our pets teach us some beautiful life lessons - unconditional love, complete joy, total acceptance. May Wiley forever remain in your hearts. You will see him again one day.

  5. I'm so sorry for your loss. Our pets are our family. May all of the memories you have help comfort and remind you of how much Wiley loved your family just as much as you loved him. It will take time for the other dogs to realize Wiley isn't going to be around. They grieve as much as us humans. Take good care.

  6. Our condolences to all the Jimmy Bean family and especially Laura and Doug. I've lost a dog suddenly and the incident stays with you always. And in 2011 our two senior dogs went over the Rainbow Bridge. Sharing tears with you.

  10. Never understood what pets could do in your life until at the age of 62 took in two Tuxedo cats born on my property. Now don't know what I would do without Tuck and Sadie and the never ending pleasure of watching their behaviors-and loving then in spite of the litter box.So sorry.

  14. How terrible. We lost our Golden Retriever Jake quite suddenly and violently on Thanksgiving. Yours was a sweet little pup and I hope you'll feel comfort knowing Wiley had a loving home ( and virtual family!!) that got to know his face and love af modeling! Healing hugs.

  17. How heartbreaking this is for everyone who was close to Wiley.
We lost one of our dogs three months ago to a sudden event caused by hemangiosarcoma which we didn't even know our dog had. As my son put it, "I know you feel like your heart has been broken in two, but it only opens it up for you to take in another one that would not see one more day if not for your open heart". We are in the process of adopting another dog from the shelter. He will not take the place of our other dog, but I feel that this dog has an angel with paws watching over him.
May time and happy memories help heal your hearts.

  18. I'm so sorry. I just had to say "goodbye" to my best friend, Emily Catt, a week ago. I'm sure Wiley knew how very much he was loved, and I'm sure you have wonderful memories of him to treasure.
