What would you like to see?

As I sit here today trying decide what to write that you would enjoy reading, it occurred to me to ask you!  After all this blog is for you!

By nature I tend to be an introverted, sort of esoteric, rather nerdy thinker, the type that geeks out on contemplating using double knitting technique and 2 circular needles to knit 4 socks at a time. Ok, maybe a bit of an insane thinker!!! But you get the idea. What I might find interesting may just be too crazy for most people. LOL!

So, going forward into the new year I'm considering many different ideas for my turn at blogging.  Since I'm the in-house teacher for Jimmy Beans, would you like to see more instructional type blogs from me?  If so what would you love to know more about? Do you prefer to read about what's new and interesting in the retail shop?  Do you like the idea of participating in knit, crochet, felt, sew or spin a-longs?  Do you like to read about what some of us are doing in our personal lives or projects that we're working on?  All of the above?

Your participation and feedback is so important to us!  Please let me know what you would like to read about each week by leaving a comment or emailing me at askTerry@jimmybeanswool.com.

Looking forward to hearing what you want to read!
Terry

  2. I'd like to hear about the different types of yarn, there are so many, and what they are best used for. I don't want to spend a lot of money on a yarn only to find out it wasn't right for my project. Perhaps a knit-along with an unusual yarn to showcase it. And I am participating in the Downton Mystery KAL. What a great idea that is!

  4. I always love to see projects, in all stages. Even though I can never get to them all, I like to browse others' projects.

I'm also thinking about sewing, and since you have fabric now, I would love to see some easy sewing ideas.

  8. I, too, like to see projects in all stages. It's cool to see yarn chosen for a specific pattern, and how it progresses into a completed project. And, because you are JBW, I would love to read about new yarn and tools -- it's a vicarious thrill to me when you show shots of BOXES of yarn arriving, or an amazing new color.

  9. I am always wanting to learn better ways to knit. In the coming year I want to learn to make socks and also to do intarsia knitting, it's so lovely. Your Downton Abbey KAL will be my first, I am very excited about that and have ganged up with a friend to do it together! Thanks for your work on the blog, it's always interesting. Best wishes from Tennessee!

  14. I would like to see a dress that embodies the essence of elegance and simplicity. A dress that flows gracefully with every movement, capturing attention effortlessly. It should exude timeless beauty, with a touch of modern flair. Imagine a soft, pastel hue that complements any skin tone, enhancing natural beauty. The fabric should be luxurious yet lightweight, draping delicately to create a silhouette that flatters every figure.
